K-pop History

                               



Who is the 1st k-pop band in South Korea?

 One of the first girl groups was the Jeogori Sisters, who debuted around 1939, while one of the first boy groups to debut was the Arirang Boys. The first idols to go abroad were The Kim Sisters, a three-member girl group that performed in the U.S. and South Korea from the 1950s to the 1970s.

Why is K pop so popular in Asia?

In addition to music, K-pop has grown into a popular subculture among teenagers and young adults throughout Asia, resulting in widespread interest in the fashion and style of Korean idol groups and singers. K-pop has now even spread outside of Korea, thanks to the internet.
